IBPS Clerk 2018 Recruitment Steps

The IBPS Clerk Exam is conducted within two phases – IBPS Clerk Prelims and IBPS Clerk Main Exam.

  • Firstly, the candidates are required to appear in the Prelims and qualify it.
  • If they succeed in qualifying the prelim exam only then, they can appear in IBPS Clerk Main Phase otherwise, they will be eliminated.

IBPS Clerk Cut Off Marks

Every candidate who is going to aspire IBPS Clerk should be very well aware of the qualifying criteria for all the two phases – Prelims and Mains.

As per the IBPS Guidelines, the candidates who score more than the cut off marks are declared as qualified in the exam. There are two types of cut off marks for both the exams- Sectional Cutoff and Overall Cutoff

  • Beside clearing the sectional and total cut-off, you also need to score more marks than your category's cut-off so that you can get an interview call.
  • It is recommended to score as much as possible in the Mains Exam, so that the interview marks do not affect your overall marks needed to get a bank allotment through IBPS.

Universal Teller (UT)
