The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is a self-governing body that controls the Recruitment Processes of 27 Public Sector Banks and 56 Regional Rural Banks in India.

IBPS RRB is one of those ambitious CWE that comes under the IBPS Exams. It has four post: -



  • Office Assistant
  • Officer Scale I
  • Officer Scale II
  • Officer Scale III


IBPS RRB Officers contribute to the development of Rural Areas. The main motive of RRBs is to promote the improvement of Rural Areas by providing more flexible Banking Services. It helps Farmers, Entrepreneurs & Other Employers to grow their businesses well in the Rural Areas.



Every year IBPS releases a number of vacancies for IBPS RRB Exam. As per the IBPS RRB Notification, more than 40,000 vacancies have been filled in last three years and 10000+ Vacancies have been released for 2018-19. IBPS RRB Recruitment Procedure 2019 – Officer Scale 1, 2, 3 and Office Assistant

IBPS RRB conducts 4 Separate Exams for Recruitment on the positions of Office Assistant (Multipurpose), Officer Scale I, Officer Scale II & Officer Scale III. The candidates who are seeking to appear in the exam may apply for two positions of Office Assistant & Officer Scale together, but they can’t apply for two positions among Officer Scale 1, 2 & 3.
