Top News about NEET 2018 Updates

  • As per the recent news of NEET Exam 2018, the exam convener body will be CBSE for 2018 session.

  • The exam will be conducted in offline mode in 2018.

  • As stated in the information brochure, the number of NEET test centers are increased to 150 from 104.

  • This year, the NEET Exam 2018 question paper will be designed in 11 languages instead of 10. However, unlike previous years, there will be a single set of question paper which will be translated in 11 languages.

  • Aadhar Card will be a mandatory document for NEET Registration 2018.

  • National Medical Commission might replace Medical Council of India for conducting Admission Process in 2018.

  • Candidates from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana will no longer need self-declaration for NEET Exam 2018. After the consent of state government to join All India Quota, they can apply for 15% seats reserved under this quota from year 2018.

  • Candidates of Open universities and Private candidature will be no longer eligible for NEET 2018.

NEET Paper Pattern

NEET Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme 2018 is as follows:

The Entrance Test shall consist of one paper in all languages containing 180 objective type questions (four options with single correct answer) from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology) to be answered on the OMR Sheet using Ball Point Pen provided by CBSE at examination centre only.

Exam Schedule: 6th May 2018 (10:00 AM to 1:00 PM)

CBSE NEET Result 2018 UG | Check Out Your NEET Score Card

The most nerve-wracking moment of your exam journey would be when your CBSE NEET 2018 Result would be declared. You go through two feelings at the same time – Hopefulness and Nervousness.

NEET Counselling 2018 Dates & Registration Process

Here comes the last and final stage of your competitive journey of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test!

After getting the score card, students can go ahead for NEET Counselling Registration 2018.

The counselling will be held in 3 rounds – First, Second & Third or Final Round. Based on the qualifying marks for NEET 2018 Seats, they'll be allotted their seats in all the 3 rounds.

If any candidate gets the seat allotted in the first round of NEET UG Counselling 2018, he/she can either accept the seat or apply for the next round. And those who do not get any NEET 2018 Seats in the first round, will automatically be eligible for the next round.

The same process would be followed at each level of counselling 2018 until the total Government Seats in NEET 2018 are filled. Thereafter, candidates will be allotted the seats based on the NEET Counselling for Private Colleges.


What to do if you don't get any Seat after Counselling?

Last year, total 6,11,539 students qualified in the exam. Based on the seat matrix of 2017 session, approx. 90,000 students could get into the medical colleges and rest 5 Lakh students had to seek for other options.
