According to the JEE Advanced latest news, Aadhar card will be a compulsory document for JEE exam applicants. Any candidate failing to produce the Aadhar card will not be considered eligible for JEE Advanced 2018 Exam. Your first step towards IIT JEE Advanced 2018 Exam is the Online Application Process. A candidate must be very careful & attentive while filling the JEE Advance Form. Map out the important documents & things before the commencement of online application process.

1. A candidate must have his/her photograph and signature duly scanned in the jpg format in such a manner that image size should be between 50 KB to 300 KB for the photograph and 1 KB for the signature.
2. Candidate’s Personal Contact Number & Email ID are the pre-requisites.
3. If you belong to the reserved category keep caste certificate handy. Several times, students claim they belong to a particular caste, which is considered as OBC by his or her state but not by the Centre. Such candidates are rejected. Make sure your described details match with the guidelines.
4. Review the Application form thoroughly before submitting it.
5. Once you’ve successfully submitted the JEE Advanced 2018 Application Form, Save the JOSAA Candidate login details & write it in a notepad. You’ll need the JEE Advanced login in future.
JEE Advanced Paper Pattern is the most important thing that will carve your preparation plan. JEE convener institutes keep on changing the exam pattern & marking scheme frequently.
The paper can be substituted in the following parts:
1. JEE Advanced 2018 Paper 1 - Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics

JEE Architecture (AAT) Exam will be held through offline mode only.
There are 5 sections in the paper. Overall exam duration is 3 hours.

3. Enter the required details like registration ID, DOB, Email ID & Mobile No.
4. Click on Submit.
5. JEE Advanced Hall Ticket will be displayed on the screen. Check your details & take a print out.
Note: Hall ticket for JEE AAT are not issued separately. JEE Advanced Admit card 2018 will be the valid document to get the entry in Architecture Aptitude Test Exam Hall. You can download the Admit Cards from the date of issuing the hall tickets to the IIT JEE Advanced 2018 Exam Date.
Advanced JEE Authority issues the Admit Card for successfully registered candidates. Those who don’t fulfill the eligibility criteria might face rejection of the Application or they might not be allowed to enter their respective JEE Advanced 2018 Exam Centers. Once candidates appear in the exam, the next phase that makes you one step closer to the Admission in IITs is - JEE Advanced Result.
Speculations about the JEE Advanced 2018 Result declaration & Cut Off Marks get spread all around from the very next day of examination.
Most noteworthy, it takes at least 15-20 days for JEE Advanced Result announcement.
At this point of time, it is very difficult to predict JEE Advanced 2018 Marks & Rank List. Out of 1.7 lakh candidates, only a handful were selected for JEE Advanced Rank list.
The JEE Advanced Cut off Marks 2017 were calculated from total 366 marks & there was no provision of Sectional cutoff in JEE Advanced 2017.

Check Subject-wise paper analysis for Joint Entrance Exam (Advanced):
1. For paper 1 & 2, physics section was easier than the previous year papers.
2. Marking scheme was clear & some sections like Mechanics, Electrodynamics & Modern Physics dominated the paper.
3. A total of 18 questions were asked from 10 Most Important Physics Chapters.
1. Chemistry was the most surprising section in JEE Advanced Paper 2017. It was moderately difficult.
2. In Paper 1, 46% questions were asked from class 12th & 54 % from Class 11th Chemistry. In Paper 2, 54% questions were asked from class 12th & 46 % from Class 11th.
3. Questions were asked mostly from these topics -
JEE Advanced Paper 1: Aldehydes, Ketones and Carboxylic Acids, Atomic Structure, P-Block Elements, Hydrocarbons etc.
JEE Advanced 2018 Paper 2 : Alcohols, Phenols and Ethers, Chemical Kinetics, Organic Compounds Containing Nitrogen.
1. The level of Mathematics section in the paper was moderate but not easy.
2. Overall in both papers, 51% questions from class 12th & 49 % from Class 11th.
3. The Marking weightage of the topics was unexpected. Most of the JEE Advanced questions were asked from Trigonometry & Calculus.
